- Before you leave us, you may want to visit our "website within a
website." The Archives are made available to assist you in understanding differences in
variations of engines, rolling stock, cabooses, passenger cars, and accessories sold by Lionel
in the postwar era. We have used pictures from our old files and personal collection to
construct this area of our website to show the characteristics of collectible variations.

Axel Görnig's Personal Home Page
- A website based in Germany that has plenty of photos and information about
postwar Lionel trains. This interesting website has separate pages on the history of Lionel,
plus detailed descriptions of postwar Lionel locomotives, rolling stock, accessories, track,
original boxes, transformers and catalogs. The "Angebote" section contains a modest amount of
items offered for sale. This fast-developing website is worth a visit. Although written in
German, the website owner is fluent in English.

- A website that has a wide selection of exciting, railroad-related
merchandise for all ages including videos, books, lanterns, signs, calendars, T-shirts,
sweatshirts, hats, software and much more.
Bill's Railroad Empire
- A website providing pictures and descriptions of an extensive N Scale layout
featuring an animated circus and continuous sound. A history of N Scale plus a tutorial on
track ballasting, track painting, track cleaning, building a layout table, structure lights
and layout sound are also provided.
Bluebird Gardens
- A website specializing in personalized, custom and finished handmade quilts,
baby quilts and throws; they also have handmade rugs and collectibles plus furniture care and
refinishing products. They feature baby quilts with trains as well as train quilts for adults.

Model Russian Railways
- The first English-language website to feature modeling the railways of
the former Soviet Union in HO 1:87 scale. Pictures of prototypes are shown and they also have a
list of what is commercially available from different manufacturers to model Soviet equipment
in HO 1:87 scale.
Pieter's NS Quest
- A website maintained by a Canadian who describes his layout which is
modeled after the commuter line he used to take in his teens in Holland. That line -- the
"Nederlandse Spoorwegen" -- provides the inspiration for the name of the website and is the
reason for the "NS Quest" name. The layout is illustrated via pictures and text plus there are
pages containing various links to European modeling sources, with a particular emphasis on
Dutch issues.

They also have photographs of earthmoving equipment and semi trucks.
