Five Sharp Chessie Madison-style passenger cars from 1980:
One of the most elaborately decorated 9500-Madison Car series sets -- the cars are painted bright yellow with a light gray roof and bright-red stripe (Lionel called it "vermillion") over the windows. The only lettering on the cars are the numbers in dark blue centered under the windows and a Steam Special logo at one end. Each car has interior lighting with translucent window strips plus die-cast passenger trucks with operating couplers.
