Here's a rather unusual item: a Lionel Boxcar made for the TCA to commemorate the 1970 convention in Chicago: pale-yellow body with red lettering. Has black doors plus postwar-type trucks with tab couplers.

Some rust on the door guides plus a light scratch in one of the roof panels; minimal flaws elsewhere! The car is all intact and very clean with nice graphics! Note that the guidebooks indicate that this car should have come with red doors.

Louisville & Nashville Flatcar from 1971: hard-to-find maroon version! Interesting item with two different loads -- a yellow Dozer and a yellow Scraper both of which are in kit form and both are still sealed in the original packaging with instruction sheets!

This nice re-issue of the postwar 6464-450 boxcar only came in Outfit #1665 (the N Y C Hudson Empire State Express set, which was the top-of-the-line set in 1976) and is not an easy car to find.
