full-color front cover plus black printing on red, blue and white areas inside. Note that the Philadelphia-based
Distributor's Advertising Promotions company was authorized by Lionel to print and distribute these catalogues
which show retail prices for sets and all other items available in the Lionel line for 1952. A blank space
is provided on the front for a dealer's information. This one has a dealer's stamp giving us a glimpse of this
document's history: it was once distributed from a place called the "Midtown Shopping Service" located at 363
Lexington Ave., N.Y.C.

history: it was once distributed from the "MADISON HARDWARE" store located at 105 East 23rd Street in New York
City!

and rolling stock (but curiously not for accessories). Note that the Philadelphia-based Elliott Rowland Corporation
was authorized by Lionel to print and distribute these rather low-cost, pulp paper catalogues which have a
full-color front cover and black printing inside. A blank space is provided on the front for a dealer's information.
This one has a dealer's stamp giving us a glimpse of this document's history: it was once distributed from a place
called the "Mack Bros. Supply Co." located at 2041-43-45-47 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, ILL.
