This manual was once distributed by the "CROCKER ELECTRICAL SUPPLY & HARDWARE CORP." located at Fulton Street in New York City as evidenced by a store stamping on the front cover.

Flaws: 2-inch hole in front cover possibly from a price sticker removal; first page is creased; next page has a small tear; small stain on back cover; staple is rusty. Complete and still very useful.
If you have a nice postwar set or a large accessory, it is not complete without the appropriate paperwork!

1952 "Distributor's Advertising Promotions, Inc." Catalogue 9 Yes $ 15 A 16-page pulp paper catalogue measuring 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches and printed with a full-color front cover plus black printing on red, blue and white areas inside. Note that the Philadelphia-based Distributor's Advertising Promotions company was authorized by Lionel to print and distribute these catalogues which show retail prices for sets and all other items available in the Lionel line for 1952. A blank space is provided on the front for a dealer's information. This one has a dealer's stamp giving us a glimpse of this document's history: it was once distributed from a place called the "Midtown Shopping Service" located at 363 Lexington Ave., N.Y.C.

This one was preprinted with the dealer's information giving us a glimpse of this document's history: it was once distributed from the "MADISON HARDWARE" store located at 105 East 23rd Street in New York City!

1947 "Fun with Lionel Model Railroading" 9+ Yes $ 35 A 32-page booklet printed in red, black and white, it measures 8 1/2 inches by 5 3/8 inches. The booklet contains suggestions on layout design and lighting effects plus instructions how to play games based on real railroad practices and incidents.

1949 "Lionel Train Layout Planning Book for Pop" 9 Yes $ 20 A 16-page booklet printed in multiple colors on white paper, it measures 5 1/8 inches by 7 1/16 inches. It shows 15 different train layouts and had to be ordered from Lionel!
