Archives of Dave's Trains, Inc.
- Before you leave us, you may want to visit our "website within a
website." The Archives are made available to assist you in understanding differences in
variations of engines, rolling stock, cabooses, passenger cars, and accessories sold by Lionel
in the postwar era. We have used pictures from our old files and personal collection to
construct this area of our website to show the characteristics of collectible variations.
Nothing is for sale in this section -- it's just free, valuable information.
Just click on our name to visit this section of our website.
American Steam and Narrow Gauge
- A website about narrow gauge railroads and steam engines in North
America. Information and photos are provided for various railroads including the Denver & Rio
Grande Western, the White Pass & Yukon, the Sumpter Valley Railway and the Rio Grande Southern.
John's CNO&TP Railroad Website
- A website designed to be a directory of CNO&TP information, photos and
history. The site also includes NS information, CSX information and a model railroading
section. The webmaster invites anyone with information, links, photos, history, stories or
other information regarding NS and the CNO&TP to contribute to the growth and development of
this website.
Have Fun With History
- An online resource providing teachers, home schoolers and history buffs with American History
streaming videos, activities, links and other resources.
Just Trains
- A website with information about everything from models to the real railroads.
They provide transportation industry news, offer a gallery of pictures of actual trains, list
upcoming train shows and maintain an extensive list of other websites related to railroading.
Modellbahn-Server
- A website providing the story of the famous "Be 6/8" (called the "crocodile")
as well as a story about trains in Europe and the environment. There are also links to model
train clubs plus listings of train shows and other events.
RailroadInfo.com
- This website is a great online resource for railroad news and
information offering a variety of resources for the railfan and model railroader. They have
railroad links, a photo gallery and press releases from all of the major railroads in North
America.
Southern Pacific in The Cascades
- A website with text and many photos describing the SP crossing of the Oregon
Cascades. In addition, there are sections providing railroad history and stories of the people
who helped moved the trains "over the hill."
SteamCad
- A website providing the drawings of some of the most famous United States steam locomotives. Best of all: the drawings are free!
Webville and Hypertext Railroad Company
- The W&H is neither a real company nor a real railroad -- it is a site for the
archiving of historical and informational documents and binaries concerning Railroads,
Railfanning and Model Railroading. It is hosted by Spike Systems which, as the name implies, is
dedicated to a fusion of railroad history and the computer presentation media.
