Note: the gray barrel car is supposed to be the easiest color to find. However it rarely shows up these days in collector-quality condition as the lettering is usually crummy. This 3562-25 is the one of the nicest ones we have ever handled! |

Price for the Freight Set described above. |
| This low-mileage set was taken care of very well for the last 54
years as all of the pieces are very clean and the overall appearance of the boxes is a sure sign that this
set was carefully packed away after each use. Set #507 came in various ways: with a barrel car that was
either gray, painted yellow or unpainted yellow and with a hopper that was either black or maroon. This set
has a gray barrel car and a black hopper plus the rolling stock has bar-end trucks with a mixture of
earlier magnetic couplers and later tab couplers which suggests mid-year production.
We don't get that many complete sets in during the year and finding a complete and high-quality outfit like this is very, very unusual! | |||||
| Outfit Number 2276W -- a Catalogued 3-piece Rail Diesel Passenger Car Set from 1957: | |||||
| The kind of quality normally found only in dreams: this postwar prize is headed up by the highly-desirable motorized Budd mail-baggage Rail Diesel Car and has a consist of two hard-to-find Budd passenger cars. All three pieces are painted in silver and decorated with dark blue lettering and numbering. Additional features include ornamental horns, silhouetted window strips, operating couplers and three interior lamp fixtures which provide nice even illumination in each unit. Each car in this very prototypical-looking train measures 16 inches long (coupler to coupler). If you like high-quality and extremely RARE outfits, study this superb set: | |||||

Price for the RDC Passenger Car Set described above |
| The 404 and 2559 cars were only available for two years (1957 & 1958) and they are rather uncommon today. However, the COMPLETE SET is a very, very unusual, one-year-only outfit that few collectors will ever have a chance to own. I doubt that we will ever have another one like it! | |||||
